At the October 24, 2019 meeting of the Denville Rotary Club, the officers of the Morris Knolls High School Interact Club presented a check in the amount of $1,450 to Roots and Wings NJ.
The high school students picked two Denville-based charities to receive a portion of the proceeds from the second annual Denville Runs On Service 5K.  One of the charities they chose was Roots and Wings NJ, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides young adults who age out of the New Jersey foster care system with safe housing, educational support, case management, counseling, and life skills in order to empower motivated individuals toward self-sufficiency.  Shaun Adams (pictured above), the Program Director at Roots and Wings, accepted the check on behalf of the organization.  The Denville Rotary Club is proud to support the Morris Knolls Interact Club and is thrilled they chose to raise funds to assist young adults in our community.
