On May 27, 2021 Denville Rotary, along with Denville Sunrise, enjoyed the great outdoors with a nature walk in Jonathan's Woods led by Dave Blinder. Dave Blinder is a Denville resident and serves on the Board of Trustees for POWWW (Protect Our Water Wetlands and Woods). The mission of POWWW is to protect wetlands, woodlands and potable water supplies throughout the Beaver Brook watershed in Denville, Rockaway and Boonton Township. They identify and support land acquisition, provide site stewardship and provide public education programs. Dave spoke about the history of the area, the wildlife and how the preserve came to be. It was a great experience enjoyed by all!
