SANTALAND OFFICIALLY OPEN!!! All are welcome!

A little history on our Denville Rotary Santaland, last year, a Denville Girl Scout completed her service project to update SantaLand. The inside was updated, Santa got a new chair and the decorations were modernized. This past summer, a fire was started by some teens at SantaLand and much of inside Santa's house was severely damaged. Some of this damage was covered by insurance but many repairs were not covered and were done by volunteers from the Denville Rotary. In addition, Denville Rotary invested more money into SantaLand, redoing the sidewalks and adding 4 lights so now people can enjoy the area year round.

At SantaLand, people get the opportunity to spend quality time with Santa one family at a time. There is no charge for you to come and see Santa and take pictures with Santa, however when possible we ask that people give a donation of $5 dollars if they can. SantaLand is run by volunteers from the Denville Rotary and Morris Knolls High School Interact students. The donations you give at Santaland for your picture and/or time with Santa go to supporting all types of initiatives both in town and beyond.  The money collected each year covers operating costs - candy canes for the children, paper and ink for the photos, etc, and any additional money collected goes to Rotary where it is used for so much good. Just a few projects that we supported this year include: St. Peters Orphanage, Denville Social Services, Hurricane Relief efforts in Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico, Celebrate the Children, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Camp Merry Heart and so much more!

Please consider stopping by SantaLand in Denville this year. Santa and his helpers are so looking forward to greeting and sitting with all the children and their families and every penny you spend there goes back into your very own community; what better way to celebrate the holidays?!
